Journalist and commentator James Macpherson says Energy Minister Chris Bowen will use whatever “superlative” language he can at the UN General Assembly and Climate Week, making no change to Australia’s economic situation.
“We’ve got higher power prices, we’ve got higher food prices, cost of living is out of control,” he told Sky News host Dean Rowan.
“Their whole policy is superlative it makes no difference to anything.
“But Chris Bowen gets to grandstand in front of the world like he’s somebody and we’re the mugs who pay for it.”
